A good roll up today saw all benches filled and there was keen competition between the ladies and the Juniors. The fellas kept themselves amused with a “lie detector” shoot at fox targets placed at 100m using .22 rimfires.
Round 2 of the Junior Shield saw Riley take top spot with a score of 492/500, with Amalie coming in second place with 482. A great score, considering this is only Amalie’s 3rd shoot. Teon was close on Amalie’s heels with 480, followed by Jarrod on 461.
The Ladies Comp saw Kerry shoot very well with an impressive 496, closely followed by Vanessa with 490 then Deanne on 485 and Amalie on 468.
Don’t forget our next shoot on 22nd November, being our Christmas shoot with a BBQ lunch provided, cooked of course by Fitzy our 4 star chef. There will be some interesting .22 competitions run, with prizes including a ham and turkey breast up for grabs so mark it on your calendars so you don’t miss out on a fun afternoon.
A reminder also of our general meeting at Mylestom Hall (River St Mylestom) on Wednesday 25th Nov starting at 7.00pm. This is a COVID Safe meeting with plenty of room, and hand sanitiser will be provided. Unfortunately we won’t have Skype or Zoom facilities, but will aim to have these for our Annual General Meeting in February.
