COVID-19 situation as at 11/10/21: the Coffs Harbour Dairyville Range has reopened on 15/09/21 for SSAA members only. Masks are mandatory (no mask, no shoot). Sign in and out, and please have the exact change for your range fees to minimise handling. You will need to place and retrieve your own targets. Look after your fellow shooters, especially the older ones, and do not show up if you are unwell.
COVID RANGE RULES FROM 11 OCT:
In line with the updated NSW Government Public Health Orders, there are some restrictions on range attendances which we need to abide with or risk having the range shut down.
From 11th October, all range attendees must have had at least one dose of covid vaccine. This applies to both range officers and target shooters.
When signing into the range, you will need to show your Certificate of Vaccination or proof of exemption to the Range Officer.
If you can’t produce your certificate, you won’t be able to use the range.
From 1st November, you will need to show that you are fully vaccinated with 2 doses (or have an exemption). Again, if you can’t show proof, you won’t be able to use the range.
To obtain proof of vaccination:
- Get a digital statement on your phone from https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/vaccination/proof
- See your vaccination provider (GP or pharmacy) for a printout of your vaccination history.
The Bellingen Rifle Club is a branch of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA), covering the Bellinger Valley and surrounds. We conduct rimfire and centrefire competitions every 3-4 weeks on the SSAA Coffs Harbour range at Dairyville. Bellingen is a small but friendly club, always welcoming new members.
Club membership is open to anyone who is a member of the SSAA (we can help you with that also). Juniors and seniors are welcome! If you’re interested in joining, or would like to try target shooting in a safe and friendly environment, contact us via the form below.
